You said you were self-taught, and that’s really cool! I’m fifteen and I’m worried it’s too late for me to learn but... could I start by copying other art? I’d never say they’re my own work I just want to learn. Would anime be the best style to learn or something simpler, like gravity falls or something. Thank you so much (*´◒`*) you’re too kind. I don’t believe it’s too late to learn how to draw. I mean if you are passionate about art and draw a lot then you’ll learn to draw. In my opinion I think you should start with a sketchy style with a bit of cartoon and anime. Anime styles can help you with more realistic bodies compared to cartoon styles. But for the face you should try cartoony styles first. But this is only my opinion, you should try whatever you feel comfortable with.
